WORKING SAFELY: FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND FIRE REGULATIONS
Businesses and offices are required by the standard to have an adequate number of
fire extinguishers on the premises, which must be evenly distributed and near exits. They must also be placed in an easily accessible location and marked appropriately.
How many fire extinguishers should be installed in the company?
The minimum requirements, which are general in nature and are therefore valid for all activities, include:
- not less than 1 fire extinguisher per floor

- there must be at least 1 fire extinguisher for each specific fire hazard facility
