Mobil EAL Arctic are high-performance, fully synthetic EAL (environmentally conscious lubricants) designed specifically for the lubrication of compressors and refrigeration systems that use ozone-friendly HFC refrigerants. 
They are also recommended for carbon dioxide applications, with adequate miscibility for proper oil return to the compressor (typically in piston applications).
These products are formulated from patented synthetic polyol esters (POEs) and unique additives to provide exceptional lubricity, wear protection, chemical and thermal stability, and hydrolytic stability.
They are miscible with HFC coolants and have well-defined viscosity/temperature/pressure ratios with a wide range of HFCs.
